About Our Camp......
Sierra Bible Camp is a place where life-long memories are made.
The beautiful forest campground with its rustic cabins and
towering trees is an ideal place to get together with friends and
enjoy the activities of camp. You will be able to enjoy the
hiking, crafts, swimming, ping-pong, volleyball, games and
campfire program--and also learn some great Bible stories and
lessons from God's Word. You will have time to participate in
group activities or to sit quietly and think or read. You can
look forward to a week of good food, good fun, and good friends.
To reserve your place at camp,
please click here,
and print the application page. Please fill out the form
completely and mail it with your fee. Make sure you and
your parent/guardian sign the application form. A free
camp T-shirt will be reserved for you if you return your
application by May 31st. Be sure to mark your size on the form.
The T-shirts will be distributed at camp. Upon receipt of your
application, a list of things to bring to camp and the camp rules
will be mailed to you.
Where is Sierra Bible Camp?
Sierra Bible Camp is located 1/4 mile West of Canyon Dam, CA
(South of the town of Chester). Take Highway 89 down the West
shore of Lake Almanor and just across the Lake Almanor Dam, you
will see the camp sign on the right. Turn right and then make an
instant left onto a dirt road that will bring you into the camp.
Can friends stay in the same cabin?
When it is possible, we will try to place you in the cabin with a
friend. A place is provided on the application for your friend's
name. Since the cabins are assigned according to age, your friend
needs to be near your own age.
When do campers arrive at camp?
Campers are to arrive at the camp after 1:00 p.m. on Saturday,
July 5th (another camp is in session until that time, so you
won't be allowed in before 1:00). Campers must be picked up no
later than 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 12th.
